Portrait of Sarah Galvin
Sarah Galvin Esq.

Sarah E. Galvin is an estate planning attorney dedicated to serving individuals and families as their trusted estate planning advisor. She works with her clients to identify their hopes and concerns for their loved ones and to design a comprehensive estate plan to meet their goals and objectives. Sarah believes that the primary goals of a thoughtfully prepared estate plan are to maintain the family ties and connections after you are gone and efficiently facilitate the transfer of your estate to those whom you wish to receive from you.  Working with Sarah means you have taken steps to establish a clear estate plan to assure that your wishes for yourself, your family and your loved ones are known and followed during times of transition in your life. In addition to assisting clients with their estate planning, Sarah also assist clients with trust administration and probate administration when a client is called upon to settle the affairs of a deceased friend or family member. Sarah works with the successor trustee or administrator to guide them through the administration process in as efficient a manner as possible.

Sarah was raised in the Central Coast region of California. She completed her BA in liberal arts with a dual focus in American Culture and Theater Arts at Bradford College in Massachusetts. Instead of pursuing a career as a professional Stage Manager, Sarah returned to California to pursue the craft of mixology and work as a paralegal. Finding that the legal profession was stimulating and satisfying, Sarah obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University, school of law in 1989. She was admitted to the practice of law by the Sate Bar of California in December 1989.

Sarah is a member of the Trusts and Estates section of the State Bar of California and the East Bay Trusts and Estate Lawyers. She is also a member of San Leandro Le Tip and past member of the board for Davis Street Family Resource Center (V. Pres.).
